A roll of wire is 10 yards (30 Feet). Each bow needs approximately 5-6 inches of wire. Therefore, one roll of wire can be used to tie 60-70 bows.
How to make a Bow
Step 1
Cut
your ribbon between the small gap; this is usually between
the name (on right) and date (on left) every 12 inches. The ribbon should be placed upside down but the print
should be facing you.
Step 2
Loop the
right side over the left side.
Step 3
Pull the top of the loop down to the point
where the ribbon crosses. This is the shape your bow will be.
Step 4
Now take your bow wire and cut a 6" strip. Place the wire over the
center of the bow.
Step 5
Begin to
bend the wire towards the back of the bow. Bend
the wire all the way back and twist the wire 3 times.
Step 6
The wire should be tightly twisted. The
wire that extends out from the back of the bow can be
used to attach your bow to a favor.
