Measuring Tulle to Determine Width

Formula

Step 1 - Multiply height of favor by 2

Step 2 - Multiply width of favor by 2

Step 3 - Add the sum of step 1 and step 2

Step 4 - Add an additional 6" to the sum of step 3

The sum of step 4 is the width of tulle required for the favor. (Always pick the next larger size.)

Example

Calculation

Step 1 = (Height) 2" x 2 = 4"

Step 2 = (Width)  3" x 2 =  6"

Step 3 = 10"

Step 4 = 10" + 6" = 16"

 

18" width tulle is our next size up.
