| I am making 6 tutus as favors for a group of 3-5 year olds for my daughters 4th birthday. I tried using 6" tulle on round elastic it took 3 spools -- any other patterns out there?? |

| When you are making the tutus are you cutting lets say 12inches and then taking it in the middle and double knotting it? Is this how you make your tutus or do you do them different? |

I do these custom as a hobby to generate some income. It indeed takes 3 rolls of 25 yard tulle, but if you make them shorter, standard length tutu's ~ you won't use quite as much. Also ~ consider doing 1 color only and then you'll need less tulle and you can add some lace or ribbon or someting cheaper as a "filler" accent.
