I am getting married in August and will be going out to Oregon (flying into Portland) for a week. Any ideas on what to do or where to go? My husband to be and I would like to go deep sea fishing but I am not sure what else to do. Any ideas would be great.  |

Oregon is absolutely gorgeous! There are tons of lighthouses to visit, but you should also make an effort to go to Crater Lake, the deepest lake in North America. It's run by the National Parks Service, so for more information, go to www.nps.gov/state/or/. You can stay overnight at a lodge there if you want. I also HIGHLY recommend visiting the Oregon Caves...they're made of marble rather than limestone, and are incredibly interesting. They're also run by the National Parks Service.
