The best center piece is getting bowls for a few bucks at Joann's, glass pebbles for another few cents each and go to the local pet store and get two goldfish! Then the guests can take them home!

My future MIL had a great idea for centerpieces...she painted giant martini glasses with fall flowers and filled them with marbles and a candle and for the base she made fall wreathes and even put hooks on them so when people take them home they can actually use the wreath on their front door.

I think having those hurricane shades with colored stones inside and the flameless tea candles are a great idea for a centerpiece

I am thinking of using the silver plastic mint julep cups, stuffing with floral foam, and sticking red roses in the foam. I am hoping they will be large enough. The cups are 4.25" tall by 3.25" wide at the top. They are going on smaller 5' round tables (seating about 6 guests each).

For my centerpieces I wanted a rustic feel so I am taking empty cans ( the tall, skinny ones that you get veggies in) and I am punching 3 hearts on the can with nail. Then I will paint each can one of my colors ( probably ivory) then put a candle in them and let the light shine out. I am also going to use the 5lb cans and do the same thing on them and have my name and FH name on the hearts then have 2 smaller cans and one big can on each table. It is going to be beautiful. Very Happy

I wanted a natural and fun centerpeice. I found this great green, yellow, and white striped fabric and cut it into 15x15 squares. I then found 8" hurricane holders and the filled them with lemons and limes that I got from the grocery store. They have turned out to be a buget friendly and great addition to my reception

I found an easy great way to make centerpieces. They're usually done with Manzanita trees/branches because they're heavier but I think you can collect and use branches found around your home. You can paint them to match, hand crystals and/or candle votives. It's also a great way to display your escort cards or wishes for a wedding wish tree.

I am filling a large vase with clear Jello and putting Gerbera Daisies in it pressed to the side of the glass. Very cute and Cheap!
