| I was wondering if a paper or linen napkins would be more appropriate for a birthday party/reception for my 90 year old aunt...children will be in attendance... |

| I would say linen unless the party is primarly children. It's a nicer presentation for your aunt and that's the most important point |

I would say either depending on the type of function. If it is not formal then by all means paper would be fine. I perfer linen though.
