I have used a corsage pin to fasten each swag. To get the amount needed to swag a 9" table, start with a string, could even be crochet thread. Fasten the string/crochet thread beginning at the corner of the table with a corsage pin and for each number of swags you want, fasten with a corsage pin at the top of each swag. When you have got the exact number of swags you want at the opposite end of the table then you will undo each pin. Then measure the entire length of the string/crochet thread and that will tell you how many feet/inches of tulle you will need. Depending on how thick you want your swags will determine the width of the tulle.
Good Luck,

| the corsage pins work really well when fastening either tulle or other fabrics together. you can make some really unique designs as well. get creative and have fun!! |
