I am going to use royal blue tulle (you can use the color of your wedding or just plain white) and I am going to wrap it around each one of the outter pews of my church with about 4 inches hanging down. Then I am going to take and tie one cala lily to the tulle in the center with a ribbon (you can use whatever flowers are in your wedding). Hope this helps. If you want me to email you a photo of this you can email me at ncesposito@yahoo.com and I would be happy to do it. I am not sure if I described it as pretty as it really looks.

I am having an outdoor wedding and reception with tents. To cover the poles of the tent I am hanging tulle like curtains around each of the poles to give it a more light airy romantic feel. Good Luck! |

You can put tulle on the walls to decorate them up if they aren't the color that you want. You just string wire and drape the tulling over the wire. You should also probably pin the tulling in case someone pulls on it. We are using this at our wedding. Also, you can wrap tulling around the candleabras to decorate them up, along the railing outside the church (or where ever you get married), you can swoop it across the head table to decorate it up, you can put it as a runner along the tables if you want to break up the color of the table cloth. The possibilities are endless!!

for pew bows:I am planning to use 18"-21" width tulle double the length I want it to hang from the pew arm to the floor. Attach wire ribbon in the
middle. Then glue flower pedals along the bottom of the tulle. I think this will create an elegant look and keep in the flow of flower pedals being strewn down the bridal isle. What is your thought? |

You could also use it as a chair cover. Instead of covering the whole chair you can just cover the back rest. Wrap the tulle around the back rest, leaving enough to create a puff in the back and tie it off with a ribbon.

When planning your own wedding, always buy what you can on sale. Saving any amount of money large or small will make a big difference. Also buy extra of things, if you go back after you bought it, it may not be available.

I'm going to try draping tulle from the center of the ceiling to the corners... it will make the hall less "hallish"

lights are excellent to wrap around tulle, little rice lights work great. Use white lights with colored tulle or colored lights with ivory or white tulle. pillars wrapped in lights and tulle make any event look like it cost hundreds.

My reception is going to have a beach theme. I'm going to wrap tulle around the glass candle centerpieces and sprinkle little seashells and starfish on the tulle. Tulle will also be draped across the front of the buffet table, DJ table, gift table, etc.

tulle has so many uses for weddings. you can stream it from the ceiling and alternate with strings of lights of wrap the lights in the tulle and drape from ceiling. be sure to measure the room before buying your tulle and your strings of light (christmas type lights) so you don't end up short. another tip is to check out where the lights will plug in before you begin the decorating process.

For my daughter's wedding we are using white christmas lights wrapped in tulle draped from the ceiling as overhead decorations. A Wedding consultant wanted to change $700.00 for the decoration!!! We can do it for a lot less.
