| We did a gift basket theme for my roommate which is really great if you have a whole bunch of poor college students coming to the shower! We assigned groups of friends to put together a gift basket and gave them a room in the house to buy for. One basket for the kitchen, another group for the bathroom, bedroom, etc. It was great! |

You can have a recipe book shower where everyone brings copies of their favorite foods and make a book for the bride. you can also have guests make some of their recipes to serve at the shower. |

I think a cute idea is a "Kitchen and Tool" Shower...that way it is more like a party and both the bride and groom and friends attend.

| You could always do an around the clock shower where guests bring gifts that match their designated time, indicated on the invitation. Or a gift card shower is easy and fun for all. |
