Does anyone have any great and creative ideas for Save the Dates? I am looking to do something out of the ordinary but not too expensive.
Thanks! |

| a friend of mine used a holiday theme when they were sending out thier cards. They made up a little rhyme that was super cute and mailed it out as a save the date/christmas card. You find super cute cards and make up a cute little rhyme....thiers was "ho, ho, ho, its down the aisle we go." It was totally cute and dual purposed. |

| If you have a nice picture, take it to Walmart or your favorite photo shop and get photocards done. They are extremely inexpensive (around $.33 a piece). My fiance and I went even cheaper and made them on our own using photoshop and word. Everyone loved the pictures and was a great save the date! |

I also used Vistaprint. But I first had a friend to take 4 photos of me and my Fiance, and create 1 collage image that resembled a movie strip. Then I uploaded the image to vistaprint, and designed my fairytale Save-The-date postcards. I then designed matching calendar magnets, and mailed them out to my guest in a invitation envelope. They turned out absolutely gorgeous! |

| I made my own. I bought business card magnets at AC Moore and then printed out the information on cardstock. 8 business cards fit on one sheet. It was time consuming but well worth it. I mounted the magnets on another white sheet of cardstock with hotel info and other stuff by cutting slits in the paper. |

I used A4 style cards from www.papersource.com in a cardstock that coordinated with my wedding colors for Save the Date postcards, customized with the monogram I am using on my invitation and throughout the wedding. The design got great reviews. The cards are around $3.50/25.
Good luck! |

| I also used the holidays to my advantage. I stamped my own Christmas cards and put or professional engagement pictures on the front of the cards for everyone to see with a little "save the date" caption on the inside. It worked out well for us. |
