I am throwing a baby shower in 3 weeks for one of my best friends. I have taken the incentive to start planning everything and sending out all 80 of her invitations.
I was told by one of our friends, that the mother to be thinks the shower will be a total flop, because I am not asking for help ( from her other friends- who tend to not help anyway). Her family has planned the whole menu and we have discussed it and agreed who should make what. I have purchased all the decorations, favors and obtained the facility that we will hold the shower in.
How should I handle this uncomfortable situation. |

| Maybe you can have a small gathering and invite her other friends to come and help you with the decorations, party favors and anything else that you can do ahead of time. You could do this the day before or the weekend before, that way you know that you at least extended an offer to them for help. You could also ask them to come a couple hours prior to the shower and stay afterward to help once again with setting up and cleaning up. |

| Everyone likes to feel included. You should task others with small things and then everyone will feel like they are helping. |
