I want to use silver tulle on silver chairs at the reception. I'm wondering if anyone has any idea on how to do this quickly as I will be getting married and have one coordinator to do this. I have 180 guests and they can't start set up until 3pm, my reception is at 5:30.

I want to buy the tulle but don't know if I can pull off getting on the chairs in time.

Thanks for anyone's help.

Cindy

It depends on how you were planning on putting it on the chairs. Are you talking about a bunched spray or wrapping the chairs or what? The main thing you need to keep in mind based on the limited time frame is to be able to do as much as possible before the event. Like instead of wrapping or draping the tulle , make a simple slipcover that is loose enough to go on quickly. Make any bunching ahead of time so it can be simply attached. You might also want to consider roping in a friend for this part rather than asking the coordinator to fit in one more thing in the limited time frame or the added cost of her hiring another member for her crew. I have managed to decorate tables for Girl Scout banquets of 150-200 with only myself or one helper in about an hour by getting most of it done in advance, boxing it up and doing things assembly line fashion. Hope this helps.
